• Shift in focus on new development efforts towards DNN 10X! Danial Valadas is performing a Discord Coding Event each Saturday at 7PM Eastern to help assist others in learning and starting and diving into new code development in the next directions for DNN

Shared DNN Utilities & Tools

Ryan Moore - Evotiva DNN Search & Replace

• GitHub Source & PA Install - https://github.com/horacioj/dnnsearchandreplace/releases
• A DNN (DotNetNuke) Search and Replace tool which is implemented as a Persona Bar module. This tool allows you to search (and optionally replace) text within any table in the DNN database.
• Also a good example for developers if you want to build a utility and present as a Persona Bar item, then this can be a good model for you to review and follow how Evotiva has done it for the tool and the installer.
• Mandeeps Live Utilities - https://www.mandeeps.com/store/live-utilities-2 a great way to perform bulk user management tasks such as exporting all DNN users, editing and then updating through csv user import.

Daniel Valadas - "gists" as Github Lists for Notes

• Daniel found that he needs to keep lists of snippets and items in Github. So he uses GitHub to make a list of his useful code elements

• Daniel gave good suggestions to using Chat GPT as an assistant to help prompt you with stater code, search for version-specific code, and doing tasks such as refactoring code to be easier to read, document, etc.
• Mockaroo.com - a tool for generating generic mock-up content for tables of data
• Eraware DNN Templates - https://github.com/valadas/Eraware_Dnn_Templates there's a lot of startups and general repeat content going into brand new module creation. Daniel mentions that he'd rather start from a template that's full and includes unit testing. So he starts with this as his starter for new projects.
• Windows PowerToys - REbuilt recently, there are TONS of useful tools including the CopyPaste History and Power REname! https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/

• Marker.io - Great tool for making it easy to repoer feedback and notes back on sites. You can integrate it and then they can send feedback

Jeremy Farrance - Responsively App
