Mike Shea of QCDUG made shared a great tool today called Debugger Canvas. This tool is very powerful in helping a Visual Studio developer debug their code. Instead of debugging directly in the source files, Debugger Canvas opens up code "bubbles" (snippets of overall code base) in a separate tab (canvas) so focus remains on the code at hand.
I know for me sometimes, stepping through code in source files can lead to getting "lost" in the overall flow of the debug path. Debugger Canvas eliminates this issue by displaying code "bubbles" for each code snippet along the debug path.
More features include the ability to save a canvas to an XPS image, the ability to take snapshots of local variables so comparisons can be made for multiple debug passes, and the ability to add related methods to the canvas using "Go To Definition" and "Find All References". Also, you can edit code directly on the canvas and visualize Intellitrace logs as snippets on the canvas.
For all you developers out there using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate SP1 and above, this power tool may help out a lot!
